Barbara Schöneberger

German TV host and actress Barbara Schöneberger was born in Munich on March 5, 1974. The daughter of clarinet player Hans Schöneberger, she studied sociology, art history, and communication in Augsburg, and worked for an agency in Munich. She quit her studies in 1999 and concentrated on TV full-time, hosting a string of popular shows. She also acted in a number of TV movies and theatrical features. In 2006, Schöneberger added music to her repertoire, singing with the Capital Dance Orchestra. A year later, she toured as the singer of the Berlin Pops Orchestra, and released her first album Jetzt Singt Sie Auch Noch!. ~ Christian Genzel
