Bad Powers

About Bad Powers

Expansive, atmospheric, and undeniably visceral, hard-hitting New York-based experimental rock outfit Bad Powers utilize elements of post-punk, avant metal, and classic underground noise rock to unleash a powerful storm of shape-shifting discontent that blends the artisan unpredictability of Faith No More and Sleepytime Gorilla Museum with the primal histrionics of the Jesus Lizard and Big Black. Formed by ex-Made Out of Babies members Brendan Tobin (guitar), Cooper (bass), and Matthew Egan (drums), along with ex-Family Curse vocalist Megan Tweed, the quartet released its eponymous debut studio album through The End Records in September 2012. ~ James Christopher Monger
