About AzChike
The heartbeat of the AzCult hip-hop collective, rapper AzChike (pronounced ay-zee-chike) pairs grimy rhymes with gurgling production—a style that’s earned him comparisons to 21 Savage. • The Los Angeles native started rapping "off a feeling." He engineered his early recordings using GarageBand and a microphone covered with a sock. • Chike credits West Coast legends such as Too $hort, E-40, and Ice Cube as his early rap influences. • In 2020, Chike released a pair of menacing EPs, Gee Oh Dee EP and Yors Truly EP, and appeared on fellow California rapper KYLE’s “See You When I’m Famous” alongside one of his idols, Too $hort.
