About Austin Burke

Arizona-native and country-pop crooner Austin Burke made his singing debut at the age of three, performing the national anthem for both the Diamondbacks and the Suns in his hometown of Phoenix. A chance meeting with Garth Brooks at a San Diego Padres spring training game -- a confluence of his two greatest loves, baseball and music -- resulted in an invitation to perform the Brooks hit Friends in Low Places on The Rosie O’Donnell Show, which set him on a musical journey that eventually led him to relocate to Nashville at the age of 19. After spending four years eking out a living waiting tables and honing his craft, he turned heads with his first single Sleepin' Around. Support slots for the likes of Vince Gill and Cole Swindell heralded the arrival of his second single, Whole Lot in Love, which made him a star with over 44 million streams. Both songs appeared on Burke's eponymous 2017 debut EP. In August 2018, he issued the single One Summer just after inking a recording deal with Kobalt imprint AWAL. ~ James Christopher Monger
