In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I always wanted to get a solo in my elementary school choir since I started in Grade 2. I finally got the only solo given to a girl when I reached Grade 6 when the boys' voices in the choir were starting to change. I seized the moment with joy!
