About ATB
German DJ and producer ATB is a trance legend best known for his turn-of-the-century opus “9PM (Till I Come).” • André Tanneberger began his trailblazing electronic music career in the mid-’90s as a member of the techno ensemble Sequential One. The group earned success in their native Germany before Tanneberger opted to focus on the ATB project. • ATB’s debut album, 1999’s Movin’ Melodies, remains his most commercially successful. It features the monster singles “9PM (Till I Come),” “Don’t Stop!” and “Killer.” All three went Top 5 in the UK, and “9PM” reached No. 1. • In 2004, ATB’s driving trance number “Marrakech” made the soundtrack of the slasher film Mindhunters, starring LL Cool J. • In the decade that followed, ATB remained popular in his home country. Nearly all of his albums have gone Top 20 on the German charts, and he cracked the Top 10 with his eighth and ninth LPs, Distant Earth (2011) and Contact (2014). • In 2021, ATB teamed up with Swedish singer A7S and German producer Topic for “Your Love (9PM),” a new version of his 1999 breakthrough smash. The single gave ATB his first Top 10 UK hit in 20 years.
