In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My great-grandmother left me with her grand piano when she moved into a nursing home - at the time I was 3 years old. The incredibly-talented Charlie Puth taught me a ton about production in videos, and Voicenotes put me on him. Tell us why you chose this song. “Be With You” This song came from a riff that would constantly get stuck in my head for years. It first popped into my mind around 2020, and I kept jamming to it in my brain. That riff became the opening to Be With You, and words just naturally formed alongside!
