In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was a Phantom of the Opera girlie. It was one of the first movies I ever watched and I was so obsessed with it that I would go around preschool singing the main theme, even though I didn't actually know the words and would just make up lyrics. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amy Winehouse, Back to Black Billie Eilish, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? Taylor Swift, reputation These are the three albums that really solidified the idea of an album for me. The idea that a collection of songs can tell a story that only becomes apparent when listening to the album as a whole. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Coast” This is the first original song that I ever got to record in a studio. I still remember listening to the final version for the first time and crying because it felt like such a dream come true to get to make one of my songs come to life.
