Cole, Born Sinner Kid Cudi, Man On the Moon, Vol. II: The Legend of Mr. Rager (Deluxe Version) These albums showed me those who didn't come from poverty & the streets could also have something to rap about. The flow is so authentic you can tell they write each line themselves & it comes from the heart, atop alt rock beats. Utterly profound. It blew up in places like Asia & Australia. People really resonated with the disillusionment I was going through & liked the Lofi beat. This is when my music went from conscious to sad & melodic.
