Annie Lennox is one of the most distinctive singers of her generation, and her work as a solo performer and as part of Eurythmics has made her a critical and commercial icon. • Lennox and her Eurythmics partner Dave Stewart first collaborated in the pop band The Tourists from 1977 to 1980. The group released three albums before breaking up. • Eurythmics released seven albums and 33 singles from 1981 to 1999. Seven of the LPs made the Top 10 in their native UK, and four of them reached the Top 20 in the US.
