Anfauglir

Anfauglir is a symphonic black metal project created in 2004 by multi-instrumentalists Lord Bauglir and Griss. As many other metalheads before and after them, the Connecticut duo considered it their mission to set the fabled fantasy world of J.R.R. Tolkien to appropriately epic music -– in their case, with a grim black metal twist. Anfauglir's self-released debut album, Hymns Over Anfauglith, appeared in 2008. The duo reappeared 17 years later with Akallabêth, a sweeping, cinematic opus comprising four extended symphonic suites.
