About Andy Velo

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first concert I ever got to go to was a Tim McGraw and Faith Hill concert in Atlanta. My mom had won tickets from the radio station. I just sat there enamored. I knew then at 7 years old, I wanted to be up there, I wanted to play Country Music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alan Jackson, Genuine: The Alan Jackson Story Brad Paisley, Mud On the Tires Tim McGraw, Live Like You Were Dying Alan Jackson has always been my favorite artist, I wanted to be just like him. Brad's "Mud on the Tires" and Tim's "Live Like You Were Dying" are records that framed some of my key growth years when I decided my life was going to be in Country music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There's a lot I could say between shows in across the country and heroes I've played with. To date, I would say when I cracked the Top 5 on the iTunes singles chart for the first time as an independent artist, that was a feeling I will never forget. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I think this is something that changes as time goes on but right now, stepping into The Circle at The Opry would be "that moment" for me. That's something I look forward to hopefully doing one day.
