In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up listening to Carole King, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, Ella Fitzgerald and the Hair album. My mother loved music and we sang along together to everything from folk, to blues to jazz and we'd make up bawdy lyrics to songs together. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carole King, Tapestry Patty Griffin, Children Running Through The Lone Bellow, Half Moon Light Tapestry brings back fond childhood memories and the songwriting is impeccable. I love the passionate vocals and harmonies of The Lone Bellow and Count on Me is so comforting. Patty Griffin's honest, raw singing and storytelling deeply resonates. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording my music for the first time with producer, Jeff Berkley and the incredible studio session musicians was incredibly uplifting and inspiring. I felt like the musicians could read my mind as they brought my songs to life in only a few takes. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to play venues like The Belly Up in Solana Beach and The Troubadour in Los Angeles. I love these intimate historic places that have introduced us to incredible artists over the years.
