In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 13 years old and a couple from my church asked me to join them for a symphony. It was Vivaldi in San Diego, California. Until then I had never heard a symphony play live. It was like waking up in heaven to hear all the real instruments.
