In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I saw Guns N Roses perform "Patience" at the American Music Awards in 1989 on a 13 inch television in my mom's living room. Slash's guitar solo was transcendent to my teenage mind. I was already a fan but now had a new level of awakening to music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beastie Boys, Licensed to Ill Guns N' Roses, Appetite for Destruction The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album) Hearing Beastie Boys first album for the first time in a schoolyard in 1980's San Francisco was mind blowing. It was a world outside my own. Guns N Roses destroyed that world and rebuilt it a new. The White Album was a view into another dimension. Tell us why you chose this song. “Porno Movie” I was taking out the trash at a local recording studio in exchange for access to the facilities. I play the piano for about an hour and one day this song just came out. I recorded the piano version and people loved it. This is how we play it live.
