In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 12 Momzy took me to Lil Wayne's "I Am Still Music Tour". It was the first concert I ever attended and the energy was INSANE. For context this was his first tour after leaving prison and 6ft 7ft had just dropped. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin' (Bonus Track Version) Amy Winehouse, Back to Black Curtis Mayfield, Superfly (Soundtrack from the Motion Picture) GRODT made that man a superhero in my eyes, the fitted cap and durag were his mask and the bulletproff vest was his cape. BTB channels a beautiful but tragic chaos that I just can't shake. Superfly is the earliest exposure I had to SOUL Music! Tell us why you chose this song. “The Meantime” Immediatly after high shool I moved out to Orlando with my pops, I went to a trade school, got my first few jobs in the industry and had some major learning curves during that time. This song really captures those 2 years in detail. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? DJ Khaled pulled up to security sqaure mall in Baltimore, me and Zo tried to get into the meet and great but got kicked out so we waited at his tour bus and he let me rap for him.
