About Aly Aleigha

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a kid, before learning instruments, I'd come up with songs in my head & in order to remember the melody, I'd jot little lines above each word: slanted up, down or a dash. These indicated whether the note went up, down, or stayed the same. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gregory Alan Isakov, Evening Machines Gregory Alan Isakov, Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony My music preferences are always changing, but I have consistently loved Gregory Alan Isakov's music. I love his poetic genus, gentle ambient sounds, overall moody vibe, & his deep rich vocal tones. There isn't a song on these records I don't love. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Auburn Skies” I wrote this song during the pandemic while in quarantine with my family. On the day Auburn Skies was released, my mom was in the hospital after a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. I am grateful for that uninterrupted time together & for her miraculous recovery What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Anytime someone shares with me what my music means to them, especially if it has been a consolation for them in a difficult time (battling cancer, losing a loved one, going through heartbreak, etc), it is incredibly meaningful to me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to bring music to all the ends of the earth and connect with the beautiful people / experience the sights & culture in every place. Music is an amazing gift that has the power to bring great unity.
