About Alex Jordan

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 3 years old, I went to see “Fiddler on the Roof”. The orchestra, the staging, and the singing made a big impression and I was fascinated by all the instruments in the orchestra pit. I went home and tried to recreate the “Bottle Dance” scene. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered The Allman Brothers Band, Eat a Peach (Deluxe Edition) The Mother Hips, Pacific Dust These influenced me heavily as an artist over the years. Dark Side for the composition, Peach for the jams, and Pacific Dust for the songwriting. Honorable mentions include Kind of Blue, Warren Zevon, Eagles Live, Rubber Soul, and American Beauty. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Queen Kerosene” “Queen Kerosene” is my first single from my upcoming record. With the work we put in to get the perfect tones, story, and audio mix in mind, I’ve never been more excited or more proud to share a song with the world. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In November of 2015, I was playing a club in New York and Phil Lesh and Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead sat in. Both of them had shows in town and it was pretty incredible to jam with them. Years later it happened again with Peter Rowan joining, too. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to play Red Rocks someday. Same with the Ryman. I’m also slowly working up to playing music in all 50 states and have loved the places music has taken me.
