About Alex Hall

A versatile country singer and robust guitar player, Alex Hall combines country-pop twang with elements of blues, rock, and Americana. After finding regional success in his mid-teens, he inked a deal with Monument Records and issued the single "Half Past You." He released his star-studded debut EP, Six Strings, in 2021.
Born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia, Hall picked up the guitar at 14 and never looked back. Citing a wide array of influences like Bruce Springsteen, Keith Urban, John Mayer, and Elvis Presley, he got his first gig singing at a local restaurant. By the age of 15, he had a Nashville booking agent and was gigging regularly, all while still attending high school. He eventually caught the attention of Sony imprint Monument Records, which signed Hall in 2018. "Half Past You," his first single for the label, arrived later that year. Three years later, he released his debut EP, Six Strings, which was produced by Shane McAnally, Pete Good, and AJ Babcock, and featured guest spots from Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, and Joan Osbourne, among others. ~ James Christopher Monger
