In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up in a musical family, my dad played piano and my mother sang harmony at family gatherings. I took piano lessons as a child; I fell in love with the guitar as a teenager. Daya is self taught as a guitar player and songwriter. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Crosby, Stills & Nash, Crosby, Stills & Nash The Moody Blues, On the Threshold of a Dream Yes, Magnification David Gray on the list as well. We love the music, arrangements, production, and vocals and harmony. There are an incredibly long list of fantastic albums, but I had to choose 3 and these elevate our spirit when we listen to them. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Know the Secrets” Our album Back to Me is new on Apple Music so the algorithm couldn't find those songs yet, but I chose one from a previous album, I know the Secrets, which puts us in a great positive space when we perform or listen to it.
