In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Well, considering that I started playing piano as a young child, this is going into the wayback machine... but I distinctly remember spending nearly an entire summer trying to master a complicated piece that I wanted to learn. It was a labor of love! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beck, The Information Grant Lee Buffalo, Fuzzy Pink Floyd, Meddle I think each of these albums holds a distinctly visceral impression on me. There's a lot to digest in each one of them, and I like artists that convey a sense that there's some weight or density to what they are trying to get across. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Phosphene” This one is a happy and energetic little smartbomb. I like how this version of the song turned out - but you may want to check out the version of this song on the LIVE AJ EP as well. One of my faves to play live. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It's hard to pinpoint an exact moment, but I'm always enthused by messages from strangers who happen to stumble upon my music, deeming it worthy enough to convey how it affected them in some way. Each time it happens I appreciate it! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Would love to do a wider tour someday - haven't quite gotten the chance to do that yet in my career.
