AJ Lova

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 11, I formed an R&B duo with my cousin called, The YoungStars, and started recording. Formed another R&B/Hip-Hop duo with my high school best friend, called Lyrical Expressionz. Went solo as, AJ Lova, and put out my first single called, "9To5". Tell us why you chose this song. “9To5” This song is special to me because it was my first opportunity putting music out to the world after being in 2 groups prior, and setting out on my journey as a solo artist. Because of that, it's a "hood classic"! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Starting a production and publishing company with my engineer, Colin Hartel, called The Countdown Music. That was my first opportunity at seeing the music business and stepping foot in it to leave my mark. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course, winning a Grammy, however, getting placements and sync licensing my music to movies, TV, and radio, is still on my bucket list. Also, I want to go on a radio tour and do radio drops for all the radio stations across the world.
