Air Traffic Control

About Air Traffic Control

Nova Scotia melodic rock and post-punk revival trio Air Traffic Control center around brothers Kirk and Jordi Comstock and their cousin Luke Comstock. Originally going under the name Madhat, Kirk (vocals/guitar) and Jordi (vocals/drums) began performing around their hometown of Lunenburg in the early '90s. They subsequently released a handful of albums, from 1993's Freak through 2002's Through the World. In 2005, after numerous lineup changes including the addition of Luke on bass, the band changed its name to Air Traffic Control and released its self-titled album. To Be Free followed in 2007. ~ Matt Collar
