About Ahdeseye

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up in Nigeria, my father pastored a church in Lagos where music shaped my life. I played drums, then keyboard, led choir, and later performed “Candle in the Wind” at a college event. In 1999-2000, I served at Christ Embassy Church Maiduguri. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Barry White, The Icon Is Love Fela Kuti, Beasts of No Nation - EP K-Ci & JoJo, Love Always These albums shaped my sound. Fela gave me fearless truth, K-Ci & JoJo taught emotional delivery, and Barry White showed me depth and presence. They influence how I express real life through music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “FROM THE DEEP” “From the Deep” is my life in sound. It reflects survival, loss, faith, and raising my children through pain. Every lyric is real. It is not just music, it is my lived experience. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? While creating “From the Deep,” everything aligned at once. The words, sound, and emotion hit me deeply. I felt a chill and broke down. That moment showed me the music was bigger than me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want my music to reach people in difficult moments and remind them to keep going. Life is not always smooth, but it can get better. I want to leave a message and legacy that outlives me.
