Action Action

Long Island indie rockers Action Action formed in 2004 when two bands on the indie label Victory Records broke up at around the same time. The Reunion Show's singer and keyboardist Mark Thomas Kluepfel and bassist Clarke Foley joined Count the Stars guitarist Adam Manning and drummer Dan Leo to form Action Action, a band mixing guitar-driven emo-tinged indie rock with a strong goth-rock feel reminiscent of 1980s stalwarts like the Cure and Bauhaus. The 2004 debut DON'T CUT YOUR FABRIC TO THIS YEAR'S FASHION was followed by 2006's AN ARMY OF SHAPES BETWEEN WARS.
