Abby Anderson

Abby Anderson is a Texas-born country artist who graduated early from high school so that she could move to Nashville and pursue a music career. ∙ In 2014, she reached the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart with a reworked version of “My Country ’Tis of Thee” called “Let Freedom Ring.” ∙ Anderson was part of CMT’s Next Women Of Country class of 2018, joining such artists as Ashley McBryde, Kalie Shorr, and Kassi Ashton. ∙ During her 2018 Grand Ole Opry debut, she received a standing ovation after performing “Make Him Wait.” ∙ She and country singer Jimmie Allen teamed up in 2019 for a cover of the award-winning A Star Is Born Lady Gaga-Bradley Cooper duet “Shallow.”
