In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I switched schools in 4th grade and saw a talent show as a chance to make friends. My mom and I brainstormed ideas, and I sang “Rolling in the Deep” on our karaoke machine. I wasn’t on pitch, but I loved it—and that’s how my journey on stage began. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eagles, Hotel California Nirvana, Nevermind Stephen Wilson Jr., søn of dad The Eagles' Hotel California has incredible depth while staying easy to listen to; “Life in the Fast Lane” is a favorite. Nirvana’s Nevermind brings back memories of my ‘90s cover band days. Stephen Wilson Jr.’s søn of dad is just flawless, no skips. Tell us why you chose this song. “Strawberry, California” I love my song “Strawberry, California.” It’s about grieving a future you planned with someone who’s no longer in your life. The shifts in feeling keep it fresh, and the trippy guitar solo hits every time I hear it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable day of my career was shooting the artwork for Grossly Aware. It was the first time I had a full team helping bring my vision to life. I felt completely seen and understood - something I was scared I'd lose, but instead fully found. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am just getting started so basically everything is left! My first headlining tour, playing Red Rocks, all the dream collaborations I have in my head... there is so much more I want to do!
