In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Britney Spears inspires me. Her music, though often dance-focused, has been therapeutic. Seeing her perform drove me to become a songwriter and music producer. My songs are honest and straightforward, reflecting my life and serving as my therapy. Ariana Grande, eternal sunshine Britney Spears, Glory (Deluxe Version) Carly Rae Jepsen, E•MO•TION These 3 are my tops. If I want to listen to something fun, I'll listen to e•Mo•tion by Jepson, if I want something cinematic, I'll go with Glory by Britney, if I want to feel okay to be myself, Eternal Sunshine by Ariana motivates me. Tell us why you chose this song. “Good Luck” I chose “Good Luck” because it’s one of the most honest songs I’ve written. It holds love, pain, and letting go at the same time, and that quiet emotion feels very true to who I am as an artist. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was born to be an artist. At first, no one cared about my stories, but through film, music, TV, and books, they reached over 300 million people around the world. That means everything to me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don’t feel like I need to chase anything else. I just want to keep doing what I love, keep telling the truth, even the uncomfortable parts, and stay proud of the artist I’ve become.
