Self-described Southern California urban reggae outfit 4th & Orange make summery, positive-minded anthems in the vein of Sublime. They first grabbed fans with their 2019 single "Girl Next Door." Named after cross streets in their native Long Beach, 4th & Orange was co-founded in 2019 by longtime friends, vocalist Garrett Douglas and keyboardist Chris "DJ Irey" Garcia. Having known each other since high school, the duo spent roughly a decade carving out their own paths in music, with Douglas focusing on songwriting and Garcia working as a producer and DJ. They eventually reunited and formed 4th & Orange, bringing on board guitarist Ricardo Ramirez, bassist Jacob Lucero, and drummer Sam Ward.
