About 4Lyn

German nu-metal band 4Lyn formed as Headtrip in 1995. Despite several lineup changes the band recorded several demos and played numerous gigs, until a show at 2000's the Ohrenschmaus Festival caught the attention of talent scouts. They changed their name and released their self-titled debut album on Universal in 2001. In 2002, the band recorded their sophomore album, Neon, in Denmark, but eventually left Universal and signed to Edel. They released their third album, Take It as a Compliment, in 2004. In 2005, the band wrote a theme song for the American Football team Hamburg Sea Devils and released their fourth album, Compadres. Hello, their fifth album, followed in late 2007. ~ Christian Genzel
