About Chinese Man

Comprised of High Ku, Sly, and Zé Mateo, the Marseille, France-based rap collective Chinese Man sometimes count among their membership affiliates such as producer Leo le Bug. The group made its debut in 2005 with the self-released Pandi Groove EP. A couple more EPs followed, The Bunni Groove EP (2006) and The Indi Groove EP (2007), before the release of The Groove Sessions (2007), an anthology. The follow-up album The Groove Sessions, Vol. 2 (2009) was released a couple years later. The individual members have also released solo output, for instance the EPs Small City Music (2008) by Sly and Le Pudding (2008) by Leo le Bug. ~ Jason Birchmeier
