In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents had a band since before I was born, so I literally was born into music. My first concert was when I was 6 days old. I got my first thrash metal cassettes when I was 3 years old (Tourniquet and Vengeance Rising). What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Couch Slut, My Life As a Woman - EP Imperial Triumphant, Vile Luxury Primitive Man, Caustic (Caustic) One of the most devastatingly heavy albums ever written. A harrowing and crushing experience. (Vile Luxury) The experimentation and musicianship on display is unmatched. (MLAAW) Megan's vocals are eviscerating and lyrically ruinous. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Arise: Assemble! Conjoin Your Flame!” Musically, I think this sums up everything we do as a band in one song. Lyrically, this song is about breaking down walls, building bridges, and joining arm in arm in the fight against oppression and fascism. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? 1. Being asked by Gilead Media to play the Migration Fest pre-show 2. Getting to open for Zao Both instances represent life-long dreams of playing with artists that we draw inspiration from. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We just want to keep going. Keep pushing musical and lyrical boundaries. We have a lot of fire in us and we are just getting started.
