Easton Corbin’s third album achieves the perfect blend of panoramic pop hooks and down-to-earth country. From the twang-soaked guitar licks of “Diggin’ on You” to the honky-tonking “Wild Women and Whiskey”—which name-checks George Strait, Alan Jackson, Jim Beam, and Jack Daniel’s in a single line—there’s no taking the country out of Corbin. But the poppy, indelible earworm melodies framing streamlined love songs such as “Kiss Me One More Time” make it clear that Corbin’s vision extends far beyond the barroom jukebox, too.
