Not as good as Shamal

I suppose it depends on which genre of the ever changing band that takes on the name Gong, one is drawn to. However if you like "You", you may like Shamal, which came out after. It does not seem Shamal is available on iTunes, but, I have transferred my scratched vinyl to MP3. "You" begins the exploration into jazz, which, following Shamal, gets a bit out of control, in my opinion. This was due to member changes (I never did get A. Holdsworth), and some "guiding principles".
I Love "You", especially the "isle of everywhere", it reminds me of days gone past.

this is my favorite gong album. even though some of the songs are kind of random and pointless I think the good ones like a sprinkling of clouds and master builder are AMAZING. just hearing the buildup starting with blakes synth into these crazy jams is so fulfilling to hear. you also really have to appreciate the moments where its just blake playing the synth. its really just amazing.
