Editors’ Notes Although Jeff Buckley released just one album before his death in 1997, his legacy flourishes. This collection of single-take covers and demos celebrates his love of interpretation, from his melancholic reading of Bob Dylan’s “Just Like a Woman” to the jazzy “Don’t Let the Sun Catch You Cryin’” and swooning pop of The Smiths’ “The Boy With the Thorn in His Side.” The previously unreleased “Dream of You and I” is an eerie, intimate highlight, with Buckley pausing mid-song to recount a dream.
