10 Songs, 47 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

The pop-punk icons close up shop with their 10th and final album. Yellowcard, best known for their 2004 hit single “Ocean Avenue,” sign off with a self-titled LP that perfectly captures their youthful spirit and earnest angst. “Fields & Fences,” a seven-minute song built around wistful harmonies and the band's signature violin, is a fittingly emo farewell.

Bittersweet.

So sad to hear the this will be Yellowcard's final album together. But such a great experience to see them grow from basic punk to master crafters.

The evolution of Yellowcard was like nothing any other band has had. Every album spoke to my brother and I in its own way since we were kids.
These albums got me through relationships that started and failed. These albums made me pick up a guitar and drum sticks. They made me learn to sing. They made me learn to sing and write songs. They inspired me to preform in front of people.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, guys.

Much love forever,
Erik

Swan Song

I've been a fan since I was 8 when I heard ocean avenue for the first time on the radio. I grew up with these guys and this album will be a perfect goodbye from them. Thank you for all the wonderful years.

Best Farewell album ever

This is the best farewell/goodbye/breakup album I've ever heard. This is everything I needed from Yellowcard and the fact that they are breaking up really kills me. If you've been a long time fan you'll love this. If you've never heard of them please give them a shot I've never heard anything more beautiful than this and more for the fans in my life. Thank you thank you so much Yellowcard
