Love is stronger than death.

For those of you who don’t know, this is the third album that follows Juha’s story after Aleah passed away, the previous 2 being Hour of the Nightingale by Trees of Eternity, and No Stars Upon the Bridge by Hallatar, all projects conceived by Juha Raivio. This has been quite the journey, proving that love is stronger than death. Rest In Peace, Aleah. And best wishes of love and comfort to Juha.

HAD to BUY IT FROM AMAZON

I wish Apple would get their act together with sign ins and the account...appears they don't mind letting it linger for years so I just stopped waiting for the album and bought it on Amazon, so much faster than waiting for Apple to let me download something I already paid for. And now they won't even let me login to my account anymore, this is ridiculous...

Love where they’re headed here

This is certainly different from their past releases. It ups the atmospheric element that they’ve been building over the past few albums and features 90% clean vocal (gasp)! I love them, they fit the ethereal nature of the music while death/black metal vocals are used sparingly to accentuate. I can see fans of only extreme vocals not really liking this - not to mention that it’s not as classically “heavy” as their past work - but as much as I like their other albums, for me, this is in a whole different league.
