Even improves on the excellent studio album

Caught an early screening of this movie and the live versions of western stars is even better than the studio versions!

Brilliant Record, Film from America’s Most Beloved Patriot

Newcomers, if you give this record and film a chance, and acclimate yourself to the new soundscapes, you’ll discover Bruce’s most beautiful work in many years. There’s no “Badlands” here—it’s not that kind of record. “Moonlight Motel,” “Chasin’ Wild Horses,” and the title cut are among the best songs he’s ever written. Finally, in the face of all the Russian-loving, Trump supporting traitors around and about, thank God we have true patriots like Bruce Springsteen, who genuinely love and understand our country, its history, its values, its traditions.

Darkness into Light

If your a long time Bruce fan you know the price of admission is examining the human mind and our existence. Most times he sets his perceptive vision on our darker side. Even happy sounding hits are tragically sad i.e. Dancing In The Dark. The Western Stars soundtrack contains the complete recordings from the film. Some have new arrangements from the album with one new magnificent cover of Rhinestone Cowboy. These songs grow as one listens to them and touch our emotions in a comprehensive way just like “Darkness on the Edge of Town”, “Nebraska”, etc. except here he gives us his own powerful wall of sound with a 30 piece string orchestra and many new band mates. The result is a masterpiece. It soars in spirit and pounds your heart. In the end you feel exhilaration and yes, hope, that Sunshine will indeed Stay.
