The best!

I have every album and pre-ordered the new one. Saw them play in a small club in Orlando earlier this year. Fantastic! You can hear every poetic word. Taylor Goldsmith is a unigue talent: songwriter, guitar player, singer.

What Happened to Dawes ?

Sometimes, exploring a new avenue of music can be a refreshing change of pace for a band. This is not one of those times. This is unlike anything they have recorded on previous CD's. I'm hoping that in the future, they will return to creating music reminiscent of the sound that was the genesis of their popularity. Until that time, I'll continue listening to their earlier CD's, with hopes that they return to their roots.

Close the DAWES on this one!

Not a single song worthy of their previous work. :(
VERY disappointing effort.
