A powerful, dynamic debut!

This is exactly the kind of modern pop I adore! Laura’s voice glides along electronic tides in “Gone Mad,” which is euphoric yet dystopian. “The Lead” picks up speed with a soulful delivery and orchestral undertones, while the title track builds tension and beauty with empowering lyrics. "My Beat" is an homage to the ’80s (sax solo and all), evoking images of record shops and vinyl sleeves, and "Love Still Waiting" continues the funky retro fun, pumping straight to the heart. "Poison" slinks in like '90s Portishead, with smooth echoes and a reverberating backdrop of beats, voices, and piano keys. Che-Val has mastered the art of energetic, reflective pop music with this dynamic debut.
