The goal of this band is joy and laughter and the well-sculpted songs do just that.

What your ears want to hear

Get ready to be taken on a musical journey. Not only sonically but emotionally.

As "Spotlight" first takes your ear's stage, your body will refuse to let you stay at rest.

Then the album title track "You Belong Here" starts to pulse and welcomes you, the fan, with open arms. It's almost a musical embrace; a sigh of relief knowing you are wanted and are right where you belong.

"Haunted" does just that to you. More so in the lyrics than the music. That one that got away, haunting your current existence.

"Walking Backwards" - sexy drum work and sexy sounding guitar tones make for a BADA$$ track. THEN to put Thad's coval up against them with the haunting melody in the verses is... well.... perfection!

"The only way out of this is together" - you would have to be deaf not to hear and feel the raw emotion that is barely audible during this bridge in "Lost It All". Hands down one of my favorite bridges. Simple on the eyes, but heavy and powerful on the ears when sung.

"One Hand" - another great bridge. Lyrically and sonically meshed.

"Magic" seriously rivals "Walking Backwards" as the dirty gritty sexiest song on the album. Honestly, where do these wavering melodies come from?! They are so intentional yet the waver and kind break in the vocal make the lyric so endearing.

So we go from "Magic" saying that together, we got something so much better than reality to "Mind Games" where every falling out brings us back to love. One of my favorites to see live.

"Pass My Way" is a sweet song. Simply put. Makes a girl smile. Also - perfectly sets you up for the final track on the album... Prepare your heart.....

"Friendly Fire". Words cannot express the emotion packed in to this 3:05 song. I cry every time I hear this. It holds the honesty that you always wished someone would give you the respect to actual admit and say to you, but the words never came out. I'm not sure it could be put any better than this lyrical piece. This is the "Fix You" of the album - but better.

Well done LEAGUES. Worth every minute of the wait.
