Editors’ Notes Following the brooding Behaviour, Very comes off as an upbeat celebration of honesty. On “A Different Point of View,” a whirlpool of burbling synths surrounds Neil Tennant’s vulnerable vocals. “The Theatre” and “Go West” are kindhearted and bright, offering a hug to every listener as the disco beats create a delirious backdrop. Though there are moments of doubt on “Young Offender,” the album’s central mood is epitomized by “Liberation,” the soundtrack to a million gentle hearts stepping into the light.
