Best Project Yet From Nemesea

I discovered this band by accident around the release of their last album The Quiet Resistance via a link on YouTube to their "Afterlife" video. TQR was a leap forward for the band's sound and maturity; thus I was a little hesitant for this new album wondering if they could top it.

They did.

The album has a steady, clear progression in the quality of their songwriting and Manda's voice has never sounded better with the instrumentation. There seems to be a sharpening of focus when it comes to the band's sound; that clarity makes the songs have that little extra edge that places them over other acts of their genre.

If you like Nemesea, you must pick up this album. It sets the bar really high for their next project in a way that The Quiet Resistance did for this one.

Great sound!

I love when bands explore changes to their style (I'm sure it's more fun for them, too). This album blends sounds from their 2nd and 3rd albums but brings some new ambience to this set. The music isn't overcrowded, which makes for easier listening for most people new to their music.
