The guy who ruined America's Favorite Band

I was willing to give this a listen before trashing it, which I did. Pieces Brothers sounds like Hello Muddah Hello Faddah, Here I am at Camp Granada. And thats the song he's so proud of. And then to re-record all the classics for the umpteenth time with a bunch of guys who arent the real Beach Boys in hopes it would get people to buy the album. Im sure he'll be doing these songs live now, as Beach Boys songs, watering down the legacy of a once great band even more.

One of the Best Vocalists of All Time

Ok all you Mike Love bashers. I've heard of you. Well I go by the music, and I think this music is way cool. It's now official - All of the 5 original Beach Boys have now released solo material. Enough to make a great playlist "The Best of Beach Boys Solo Recordings." And Mike's stuff is right up there with all the rest of them, including Brian. Brian is great, and a genius, but he said of Mike for the reunion album "Mike still has the genius lyrics." And he does. Also I like the way he includes Beach Boys sounding vocalists on this album. His voice always sounded great while blending with the high parts, and all the other harmonies. And I like his rhythms. Regarding the remakes of the classic BB songs, my fave is Wild Honey featuring John Cowsill of the Cowsills, who did I think "The Rain, the Park, and Other Things," which was sort of a classic 60s groove.

Excruciatingly bad..

No reason to re record the Beach Boys classics and the new material is just plain embarrassing.
