Keith meets Belle and Sebastian?

Bright, smart and happy music! It combines the best feel-good sounds of sixties pop with sly lyrics and excellent songcraft. I found this artist by following the "also bought" list while purchasing the Aluminum Group. If you enjoy them, try this. If you enjoy this, try them.

Hi All you Ituners!!!
This is a great piece of music! There are some awesome standouts on this record. The think you cannot go another minute without downloading "Parallel Lives" (About the lead singer's sad divorce), "People Mover", and "It's the Minor Chords that Kill You"...all 3 of those songs are on constant rotation on my iPod. This music seems to go great with rainy days...but it is not sad music. It is just music that makes you think a lot about your life, your past, your future, and anything else that comes to mind. It is also very difficult to compare them. There are a few songs that they perform that sound like Clarence Clemons is playing Sax and the East Street Band is going to climb out of the woodwork, but for the most part they are pretty unique. I live in Chicago and they seem to do a lot of gigs based from there. So I would highly recommend seeing them play live!
