Oldschool Newsboys are BACK!!

I have lamented the "oldschool Newsboys" since Peter Furler and Phil Joel left the band several years ago. I loved Peter Furler's solo album as well as Phil Joel's. I have, however, struggled to get into the "new Newsboys" with Michael Tait on lead vocals. They sound more like the rest of mainstream Christian music these days. I love Michael Tait from his DC Talk days, but him leading Newsboys was something I just didnt connect with.

Seeing Newsboys at WinterJam this past weekend rocked my world. Not only are they ALL back together (INCLUDING Peter Furler and Phil Joel), but they recorded an album?!?! YEEESSSS!!

And these songs are such a good addition to their oldschool, upbeat, encouraging sound from their "Take me to your leader" "Entertaining Angels" "Love Liberty Disco" days. This album is an instant-buy for oldschool Newsboys fans. You will enjoy these songs!

Really really good

This is really encouraging. I’ve been a casual fan of the Newsboys and have not always followed them. When I saw Peter and Michael together on the same album, I decided to buy it not knowing what really to expect. Well worth the money and the blessings that have come with it. And love hearing Kevin Max on Love One Another. Good one.

Awesome!!

This is definitely the album of the year this a super band and the album is equally as super. You even have the Great Kevin Max featured on Love one another. The album in many ways features the breath of Newsboys catalogue but it is still given in a modern, relevant way that can appeal to old and new fans alike
