7 Songs, 28 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

The unmistakable cinematic comic book aesthetics surrounding The Academy represent the project’s scope accurately. After all, uniting the hitmakers of Rich Music’s roster with urbano allies like De La Ghetto and Wisin feels like a superheroic endeavor of sorts, especially considering the strength of the material contained on this tight seven-track EP. With in-house producer Dímelo Flow masterminding from the studio, singing sensations Dalex, Feid, Justin Quiles, Sech, and Lenny Tavárez combine their powers for the good of the dance floor. Hypersexual lead single and opening track “Quizás” leaves little ambiguity about just how well they work together. Balancing out some of the testosterone in the room, Cazzu comes through with a characteristically dependable contribution on “Imagínate,” while Miami upstart Mariah leaves her mark on “Feel Me.”
