10 Songs, 36 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

For his second self-titled album, Ty Segall—the premier peddler of '10s garage rock—hit the studio with a full backing band, including singer/songwriter Mikal Cronin and members of The Cairo Gang and Fuzz. The LP is a 10-track tour through Segall’s various strengths and styles: There’s the mostly acoustic and completely love-bitten “Orange Color Queen,” the swampy groove of “The Only One,” and the many-headed, 10-minute “Warm Hands (Freedom Returned).” A worthy entry in a catalog that continues to spill outward.

great as usual

nice mix of everything he's done so far. diggin it. nice mastering, too. maybe the best yet. but iTunes unfortunately replaces the pictures for the first self-titled Ty Segall from a long time ago with this album so now both albums show up at the same time and has all the tracks from both albums, unseperated. really annoying, please fix this

So diverse, so well done, back on guitar

It's an absolute masterpiece. Just listened to the early listen on npr first listen four times in a row and I'm love with this album. Absolutely his most mature album. Each song sounds like a different artist(Bowie, Beatles, Th Kinks, Iggy, Sabbath to name some). It's very easy to hear the influences. I'm so excited for the rest of Ty's career. He's on pace to be among the greatest. I saw him twice last year and I can't wait to see him again this year performing this album. Already of one of my favorite albums. Go support drag city and buy the vinyls
