Not a “Haus” Party, but a “Block Party”

I love me some TH and Haus Party Part 1 is everything and gives me life. HP 2 misses the mark attempting to ride off the success of HP 1 and falls short in a hard way. HP2 gives the listener NOTHING that part 1 did. HP 1 was positive, uplifting, self esteem booster, had you loving yourself. This album is a let down for Those that are expecting a true Haus Party part 2. The only standout song that is tolerable is wig. An album that has to add two tracks that are remixes of nails hair hips heels should always be a red flag. This feels like this album was just thrown together to make a part 2 instead of putting more thought and love into the songs and making it a true Haus album. This is no Haus Party it’s an urban block party. :-( not what I was expecting. Haus Party 2 is a flatline quick grab the crash cart stat.

No skips

The whole thing is an absolute treasure. The. Whole. Thing. What at first sounds like dance floor filler belies a deeply political and socially conscious set of songs focused on empowering LGBTQ people everywhere.
