Although this is said to be the downer and low quality album of men at work, I personally believe this is still as great as its predecessors. It is definitely different, but the heart is still there. The best songs are Giving Up, Maria, and Sail To You, but as usual, every song is great. I’ll miss men at work!

Men no longer at Work?!

HUGELY disappointing LP when it came out back in ‘85 because of how good the first two LPs were. Was it burn-out or was it the tug-of-war within the band, new producers/engineers, or a desire to become “something else”? Of course, the three jewels here are “EVERYTHING I NEED,” “MARIA,” and “CHILDREN of PARADE” (all pure Colin!!) with “Man With Two Hearts” and “Snakes and Ladders” coming in close behind. Like with Fleetwood Mac’s “TUSK,” they REALLY needed someone to oversee and take the best of these songs and give the chaps a little more time before releasing this LP >> BUT, considering how horrific contemporary hip-rap cr*p so-called “music” is these days (2018), even the filler tracks on here are sounding better and better...
